| Rock Circle |
|
 |
I found this mysterious rock circle while riding my ATV in the Jean, NV and
I-15 area. I did not look as if it was very old, but it was very interesting when it I found it. There are no roads
or trails that go near it. I found it while hiking on top of a ridge about 1/4 mile North of I-15.

| Sink Hole |
|
 |
This small sink hole was found by a BLM employee many years ago. He gave me
the GPS coordinates and told me where to find it. The sink hole is about a 1/2 mile North from Devils Hole near
the Ash Meadows Wildlife Preserve.
The pit is about 50 feet deep. If you intend to enter the pit you will need ropes and rappelling equipment.

| Unknown Cave |
|
 |
This cave was found during a Trip to the Armagosa Sand Dunes. The cave appeared
to be formed when the alluvial volcanic rock on top collapsed forming a small cave.

| Desert Megaphone |
|

 |
This odd looking hunk of metal called the 'Desert Megaphone' was found during
a trip to Afton Canyon, California. Nobody knows who built the Desert Megaphone or who put it there, but I feel
it was made by someone working for the railroad long ago.
The Megaphone is a big tube of welded steel fashioned from several train parts. From the looks of it some attention
to detail was done to create it. If you bang on it with a rock it makes a loud clanging noise. Someone also attached
a small brass bell to it, for what reason who knows. The direction it points also has no reason either.
